The Berkeley Striper Club will be hosting our annual picnic again this summer in honor of Pete Kras.
This year we return to JOHN C. BARTLETT, JR. COUNTY PARK AT BERKELEY ISLAND on Saturday 0721/2024 located at 399 Brennan Concourse in Berkeley Township.
Park open 6am to 10pm but members start arriving around 10AM. We will be setting up at 9 AM if anyone wants to come and help.

There is a large 100’ fishing/crabbing pier. Bring the kids! There is a children's splash park along with a new playground. New picnic areas, bocce, corn hole and horseshoe courts are also available. There are new bathrooms and a new pavilion. We have a beer/wine permit so if you are interested, you are welcome to bring your favorite drinks to enjoy. No Glass Bottles allowed.
…Please note that no balloons of any kind or any Styrofoam products are allowed…
Bill, our Youth Education Chairman will provide rods/reels, tackle, and crabbing supplies for the kids to fish/crab during our picnic to take advantage of the new pier. Bait will also be supplied. Thank you Bill!
If you are interested in helping out, please reach out to Tom. We need volunteers to help get the supplies, set up, cook some crabs, and help out the kids fishing/crabbing during the day. I also need grillers to cook the burgers and hotdogs during the day.
This Family Day Event is FREE to club members and their family residing in members’ primary residence.
Guests: Each member is allowed 4 guests at $10:00 each. If circumstance arises that a member has more than 4 guests bring it to the attention of committee chair and something will be worked out with executive board.
Menu: Hot dogs, hamburgers, sausage, kielbasa, crabs, clams, corn, various salads, side dishes, watermelon, water, soda, and juices.
We will have a 50/50 drawing.
